Ron FoisyCollege Advisor Ron entered the world of financial planning in 1994 and spent four years studying for and earning a CFP designation. Ron practiced traditional financial planning (investment management, retirement planning, saving for college) for several years, and realized that paying for college was overwhelming all other aspects of financial planning for many families. After learning more about college financial aid and the financial aid formula, Ron made the transition to college planning in 2005 with a focus getting through the college years with the least amount of wealth erosion possible. Ron further developed his college planning skills in 2009 and 2010, as his own son Ryan was going through the college planning and application process. Ron’s daughter Jaclyn, (a 2012 High School graduate) is well on her way to capitalizing on his advanced training. Ron currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the MetroWest YMCA, director of the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce, Former Chair of the Hopkinton Youth Commission, Coach of U16 Softball, and Small Group Leader at FCCH. He is married to Barb, and has two kids, Ryan (sophomore at Syracuse University, and Jaclyn (Senior in High School).
